Popular YouTuber Sean Callaghan is back once again, buying all the questionable tech he can find from the e-commerce platform Wish. This week, Callaghan focuses on cameras and other photography-related items to test so we don’t have to. While many of the products may look familiar, the brand names and price points are considerably off. DSLRs, mirrorless, action, and web cameras feature in the video and are all purchased at a fraction of the price you’d normally expect to pay. The cheapest camera costs just under $8!
It will come as no surprise to read that most of the camera equipment he buys is complete garbage. There are a few pleasant surprises in both the action camera and accessory department, but most are well worth avoiding. While this video is entertaining to watch, it is a good reminder to us all that if something seems too good to be true, then it normally is. The video also reminds me of the saying “buy cheap, buy twice” and is something many of us probably wished we learned earlier on in our careers.
