We aren’t far off from the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S20 family of devices at a Galaxy Unpacked event next month. Ahead of that unveiling event, we have a new leak that tips a lot of detail about the top-end device in the S20 family. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Ultra 5G is tipped to retain its microSD slot with support for up to 1TB cards.
Some had feared that the device might lose the SD card slot, so this is great news. Samsung will also offer the smartphone with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. The big news is that the S20 Ultra will have both a 12GB of RAM and a whopping 16GB of RAM option. We already knew that the cameras would be a big deal on the Ultra, and now there are camera details to share.
The S20 Ultra 5G is going to keep the SD Card slot. Support for up to 1TB.
It will also be available in 128GB/256GB/512GB and have a 12GB and 16GB RAM option.

The primary camera will be a 108MP unit; likely the Samsung sensor co-developed with Xiaomi. What may be more interesting for some is the 48MP camera with 10x optical zoom. The Ultra will also have a 12MP ultra wide camera. Power will come from a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging to get the phone from dead to 100% charged in roughly 74 minutes.Â
Yesterday we talked about another leak that showed what the Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G smartphone looked like. One interesting tidbit from those images is that it appears the screen with the curved sides is no more. The Galaxy S20+ 5G will use a Snapdragon 865 SoC, and its camera array is tipped to include a 12MP main with an ultra-wide, telephoto, and macro lens.
