A pleasant surprise.
Nintendo has shared a list of the top 15 most-downloaded Switch eShop games of December 2019 in Europe, and you probably wouldn’t have guessed which game has taken top spot.
It was the turn of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle to beat the competition and be the most popular game on the eShop last month, fending off the likes of Minecraft and Pokémon. Don’t get us wrong, it’s a truly fantastic game, but we wouldn’t have expected it to top the charts two and a half years after release.
