Raw Power: A Review of the Panasonic S1H

The Panasonic S1H is a real powerhouse of a camera that has captured the attention of quite a few videographers and filmmakers. With its deep list of impressive specs, you might be wondering if it is the right camera to add to your kit. This excellent video review takes a look at it to answer that exact question.

Coming to you from The Hybrid Shooter, this awesome video review takes a look at the Panasonic S1H. The S1H is heavily oriented toward video shooters, featuring a 24.2-megapixel sensor, top-level 6K video at 24p, 4K video at 4:2:2 and 10-bit, V-Log, dual native ISOs, and high frame rate with sound. Along with the video features come a 5.76-million-dot 0.78x OLED EVF, 3.2″ free-angle rear touchscreen, a continuous shooting rate of 9 fps, 225 contrast-detection autofocus points, weather-sealing, and five-axis sensor-shift image stabilization. The broader benefit of the S1H (along with its siblings, the S1 and S1R), however, is that it uses the L mount, meaning Leica, Sigma, and Panasonic will all be manufacturing lenses to use for the camera. It is certainly a fascinating option; check out the video above to see if it is right for you.
